We want everyone to be able to use our mathematics tools, regardless of physical ability or assistive technology.

1. Compliance Standards

We build our pages to comply with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards. Key accessibility features include:

  • Keyboard Navigation: All selectors and input buttons can be focused and clicked using the Tab and Enter/Space keys.
  • Contrast Ratio: We test our colors to ensure text meets the standard contrast parameters (at least 4.5:1 ratio). In light mode, our results use high-contrast slate text, and in dark mode they use high-contrast white text.
  • Aria Labels: Form controls and interactive SVG components feature custom descriptions for screen readers.
  • Semantic HTML: We use appropriate HTML5 structure elements (main, nav, header, footer, section, h1-h6) to ensure proper document outlines.
